Tuesday Night Steel is an all steel match loosely based on the USPSA handbook. These are fast stages and will provide you with experience and skill development which you can apply in competition. You will shoot 4 stages, and it will take approx. 1- 1.5 hours depending on the number of competitors.

Round count is generally held to about 20 per stage, so there will be about 80 required hits to complete this match. Plan on bringing 120 rounds to account for misses, if you need to reshoot a stage, and to participate in an after match activity (skill challenge, shoot offs,…) as time allows.

This event is designed for beginners and seasoned shooters. .22 Steel shooting is Safe, Fun and Family Friendly.

This is a great way to learn Sight Alignment, Trigger Control, and Hand-Eye Coordination.

Shooters use rimfire ammo one lane at a time, each lane with shoot plates in a specific order. Shoot plate orders are randomized before each match.

Scoring is time based, plus penalties for missed plates or shooting plates out of sequence. With misses costing 2 seconds each, hitting plates in the proper order is extremely important. The eight fastest times from ten lanes fired are added together for each shooter’s bracket time.

THIS IS A FREE SHOOT

Where: Southern Utah Shooting Sports Park (Past the DMV and County Fair Grounds)

When: 1st and 3rd Thursdays every Month starting at 6:30PM

What you need:

• Any rimfire .22LR firearm (no Magnums)

• 100+ rounds of ammo.

• Water

• Chair (we will be shooting in shifts of 5 so there could be some waiting depending on the turn out)
